Magnificent 19th Century Russian Silver Sabbath Candlsticks lavishly decorated with grapes, grape leaves and grapvines, with beautiful and vivid foliated knops above and below and ample leafy decoration on a banded domed base with blank cartouche shield suitable for engraving. Set atop 3 feet decoaretd with grapevines and fruit. Fully marlked with maker's name, B. Shkarlat (from Minsk), "84" and left facing woman's profile with kokoshnik in oval cartouche. A spendid and beautiful pair.
